What visa do I need to continue working for my Canadian employer when moving to California?
Q. I am a Canadian citizen working for a Canadian company that does NOT have any presence in the US and does NOT plan to have any presence in the US. My husband is working in California for a US company and he's on a TN visa. I will be moving to Californian with him, on a TD visa. My company has suggested that I continue my job by telecommuting. I would work from our apartment in California telecommuting to Canada. Not producing any goods or services here in the US; just working online for my Canadian company while sitting in California. Can I do this while on my TD visa? Or do I need a work visa or work authorization? If so what visa do I need.

A. Try tourist visa. Seriously our immigration policy is such a mess that you don't need any documentation if you are not planning on applying for a job or government benefits. So the TD visa is fine. But you will need to get heath insurance as you do not want to get caught down here without it, our hospitals can ruin you financially if you get sick. Getting a visa for Shanghai in Hong Kong. How long will it take and how difficult?
Q. We are New Zealanders who are planning a trip to Shanghai in early Nov. We have 6 days booked in Hong Kong. We don't want to purchase air tickets for Shanghai until we get to Hong Kong as not sure when or how long we want to go for. To get a visa before we leave home we need to show return tickets for China. How easy is it to get a visa in Hong Kong and where would we get it. We are staying at the Grand Hyatt on Hong Kong Island.

A. plz do ur enquiry w/ the above website...n u just need 1-day application time 4 ur visa. i mean u go there in the morning & u wil get ur visa the next day. actually most of the 5 stars hotel's concierge can do it 4 u. u dun hv to really goto the china travel svc urself. but if u do like to go, 1 of their ofc is quiet close to the Grand Hyatt. just abt 5 mins walk to the china resources bldg...that's their visa ofc 4 all westerners. n after the Olympics, things should be back to normal. so no worry abt ur visa. if u do hv a booking in the Grand Hyatt aldy...try to email their concierge & ask 4 details. sure they wl help u as they r 1 of the good svc hotel in HK.

Why does a Australian Tourist visa implied with 8503 condition? How to avoid it?
Q. I want to visit Australia as a Tourist. I am interested to change my status if I got some educational opportunities there. But someone told me that if a person's visa is stamped with 8503 condition, he/she can't change the status. So, I want to know that how can 8503 condition be avoided. What conditions make the visa officer to apply this 8503.
