Does anyone know a milk sugar butter frosting? i have 1 cup powdered sugar and no vanilla.?
Q. i have molasses and corn syrup as well. boyfriend is allergic to nuts so no almond and used the cocoa for the brownies so I'm out of that. I have marshmallows too I have brown sugar too but if i leave out the cocoa it might mess up the consistancy of the frosting.

A. You sure can just pour the amount of water in a mesuring cup that the recipe calls for milk then add at the rate of one heaping 1/3 cup of powdered milk to each cup of water. It does not dry hard like royal icing does but is firm enough you can stack them or package them. It is very tasty. This recipe calls for Crisco but you could use cream cheese in place of it and still have a slight cream cheese taste to your icing and yet they would dry to be packaged. cutout cookie icing 3 egg whites, at room temp. Q. Is there a difference between canned broth (like swanson chicken broth), broth/bouillon cubes (like maggi cubes where you dissolve 1 cube per 1 cup water), and powdered broth? Or can they be used interchangeably. Like if a recipe calls for 1 cup chicken broth, can I use a cube and 1 cup water?

A. You can use them all interchangably! there are minute flavor differences, but for the most part they are just plain easier to do if that is what you have. I keep the cubes for instant soup broths rather than taking up pantry space with cans of broth or making fresh broth every time.

CAN I USE REPLACE GRANULATED SUGAR WITH POWDERED SUGAR ?
Q. i want to make cupcakes and i dont have granulated sugar. if i can, whats the proportion difference.. cause im thinking a cup of powdered sugar to replace a cup of granulated would be too sweet ... please help thanks :)

A. No, they're not interchangeable. Powdered sugar has cornstarch added to it. It also has a much bigger volume per weight than granulated sugar. Just go buy the granulated sugar. Your cupcakes will thank you for it.
